Social caps are available for new or eligible customers who apply to connect to the ONE service, pass the ONE credit assessment, and who are accepted by ONE. There is a limitation of one phone per customer. You will pay the 'minimum cap' amount each month even if you do not make calls to that value. For your first month of service, you will only pay part of the minimum spend and you will also receive only part of the "Included Value". Any unused "Included Value" will not be rolled over. Minimum contract term is 24 months.

(1)Included Value:

The Social Cap Plans included value includes standard national voice calls, standard national SMS and MMS, International SMS, VoiceMail. The included value excludes national diversions and calls to 13/1300 and 1800 numbers, 124 YES (937), International Voice including calls to fixed lines or GSM mobiles that switch/divert or re-route overseas, International Diversions, International Video, International Roaming, International MMS, International Video Calling, Optus Zoo Browsing, Optus Zoo Downloads, Content Packs (unless specified in promotions), Mobile Internet usage, TrueLocal usage, Directory Assistance, Surepage, Premium SMS and MMS, VOIP services and usage, and 19XX services. If you exceed the included value in any one billing period, standard rates of your plan will apply.

(2) Included Data Value:

Included Data Value includes a set amount of data per month to access services on Optus Zoo or Optus iZoo, browsing the Internet from your mobile as well as using your mobile as a modem. If you exceed the included monthly data allowance, excess usage charges will apply on any Social Cap Plan. Excess usage charges are $0.25c or $0.50c per MB depending which cap plan you are on. Usage includes uploads and downloads. Data usage will be counted in kilobytes, where 1024KB = 1MB and includes both uploads and downloads. All data is billed per MB. Any unused monthly data cannot be rolled over. Your data allowance cannot be used for Voice and Video calls, VoiceMail, International SMS and MMS, premium and Third Party SMS and MMS, Optus iZoo and Third Party content purchases and subscription fees, 1300, 1800, 1900, Surepage, VPN data usage and data used while roaming internationally. If you access such services, you will be charged at prevailing rates.

(3) Unlimited mobile access to Facebook®, Twitter, MySpace:

Unlimited use of these services within Australia only. Use of these services is separate and does not count towards your included "Mobile Internet Data Value". These features are only available to you if your handset is compatible with the service. Optus Mobile Fair Go. Policy applies. Facebook is a registered trademark of Facebook Inc. Use of the Facebook SMS alert service or any other social media alert service are not included as part of the service and will be charged separately. Other important information

Calls are billed in 60 second increments. A $2.00 fee will apply if you choose to receive a paper bill posted to you. To avoid a paper invoicing fee you may change to an electronic bill sent to you by email, by logging into your account manager area and changing your preferences online at http://www.myone.com.au. Credit Card Fee: If you use a credit card, or debit card to pay your bill, a 1.65% fee (inc. GST) will be charged. This payment processing fee will be shown on your invoice after the payment has been processed. Exemptions may apply. Single Bill: ONE may place your service on a single bill with one or more other services that you have with us. All services will be itemised separately on your invoice. Payment for services is strictly 14 days from invoice date.

Switching to these plans

If you are an existing ONE customer and would like to switch to one of these new plans, you can do so for no plan change fee. Your current contract will be cancelled with no early termination fees and you will start on a new 24 month contract. A new phone will not be provided when you switch plans.

If you are porting (transferring) your number from another provider, you must activate your sim within 3 business days of us dispatching your sim card and/or handset, after this time we will complete the port automatically for you. Porting hours will apply, if the 3 days deadline falls on a non business day, we will activate the port on the next business day. Instructions will be provided in your welcome letter. We will send the sim card and/or handset on a courier overnight service.

Mobile internet packs are not available on the Social Cap plans (you already have internet included in your plan); they are only available to existing customers on other plans.

Mobile Internet Packs:

Include a set amount of data per month: SMALL Pack includes 25MB of data, MEDIUM Pack includes 200MB of data, LARGE Pack includes 500MB of data and XLARGE Pack includes 1GB of data to access services on Optus Zoo, as well as browsing the Internet from your mobile. Offer may be withdrawn at any time.

If you exceed your plan’s included monthly data allowance, excess usage charges will be charged at $0.35 per MB or part thereof for 24 month Contracted period. If, before the end of your contract period, you cancel your service or change to larger mobile data plan a charge of $25 will be applied to your account. Any unused data allowance cannot be rolled over. Your data allowance does not include services such as Voice calls, Voice Mail, International SMS, premium and Third Party SMS, MMS, Optus Zoo subscription content and Third Party content and applications, International MMS, 1300, 1900. If you are able to access such services, your use of such services will be charged at prevailing rates. Data usage will be counted in kilobytes, where 1024kb = 1MB, 1024MB = 1GB and includes both uploads and downloads. The service is only available to customers within the Optus 3G/HSPA or GSM coverage area and is subject to network availability, refer to www.myone.com.au/coverage. You need to have 2.5G or 3G network compatible mobile phone which is provisioned with the required settings to activate data use.
